Scott Fitzgerald. It goes:- “Things are sweeter when they're lost. I know--because once I wanted something and got it. It was the only thing I ever wanted badly, Dot, and when I got it it turned to dust in my hand.” May Allah give all of us the courage to chase our dreams, but more than that, may He give us the wisdom to see which of our dreams are worth chasing (or worth facing our fears for, as you've pointed out). Not the pursuit, but the dream itself. It isn't the fear of failure, but the fear of giving it everything you've got and then not having it turn out the way you had pictured it in your head.
